Who Can Request Data Deletion?
Business Partners
If you operate a business using Star Pilot, you can request full closure of your account, removal of staff counter access, and purging of all reservation logs and owner analytics.
Customers
If you received a review invitation via WhatsApp and wish to erase your phone number, rating history, or feedback comment from our databases, you can request immediate removal.
Step-by-Step Deletion Process

Send an email from your registered email address to hello@starpilot.it with the subject line:
Provide Identifying Information
To ensure we identify and purge the correct records, please include the following details in your email:
- For Businesses: Your registered business name, manager email address, and account phone number.
- For Customers: The mobile phone number that received the WhatsApp review invitation, and the business visited (if known).
Security Verification (24–48 Hours)
Our data protection team will verify the request to protect your account against unauthorized or malicious deletion requests. We may send a verification email or confirmation message to the phone number on file.
Complete Erasure & Confirmation
Once verified, all personal records, phone numbers, tokens, and credentials are permanently purged from our active systems within 30 days (usually within 72 hours). You will receive an email confirmation once the erasure has been completed.
What Data is Deleted?
- Customer Contact Records: All phone numbers, names, booking details, and timestamps logged for review dispatch are permanently purged.
- Tokens & Feedback: Any rating magic links, star ratings, and private text feedback submitted by the customer are permanently erased.
- Business Account Data: For business owners, staff access PINs, configuration settings, and historic dashboard metrics are completely removed.
Note Regarding Public Google Reviews
If you or a customer submitted a review directly on Google Maps, that review exists entirely within Google's ecosystem and is governed by Google’s terms. Star Pilot does not possess administrative access to Google accounts and cannot delete public Google reviews on your behalf. Customers can edit or delete their public Google reviews directly through their Google Account.
